God has taught her “first hand” how to walk in unconditional love, unconditional forgiving love, and unconditional “tough” love.
Debra’s testimony includes overcoming sexual abuse and co-dependency. She was brought up in a middle-class family that appeared to “have it all”; however, behind closed doors, there was “a secret.” She was sexually abused from the age of 3 to 12. At the age of 12, not really knowing what she was doing, Debra accepted Christ as her Savior while watching Billy Graham on TV. Through this experience, she discovered the strength to step up and stop the abuse in her life; however, this process also caused her to become controlling and co-dependent.
She and Ed met in 1986. They were both hurting and emotionally unstable individuals, yet God knew they needed each other and there was no doubt that it was Him that brought them together. Debra has literally walked through “dealing” in order to bring “healing” to the issues in her life; issues from abuse to being married to an alcoholic, a drug addict, and a womanizer. God has taught her “first hand” how to walk in unconditional love, unconditional forgiving love, and unconditional “tough” love.
Debra worked beside her husband in the business he established in 1996, and it was at his side that God taught her how to become a business woman. She truly understands what it is like to have to pull herself out of bed and not succumb to depression, but instead to continue pressing forward in spite of adverse circumstances.
God has performed miracles in her life, and the prophetic anointing she carries is one of dealing with “heart issues.” The Holy Spirit allows her to see the hearts of people, and to speak life and healing to their hurts as they come to deal with “secret” issues. She is able to expose the “root” that is keeping individuals in bondage, and once the “root” is uncovered, then freedom and liberty become the order of their lives. Debra is free today because she made the decision to not keep things buried inside. Instead, she chooses to deal with issues head on so that she can walk in the power and authority that God has established for her life.
